The Seoul Restaurant is a Korean restaurant in none other than Koreatown, which specializes in some quality, yummy hot pots. My boyfriend and I came here one night to try out their hotpots for dinner after an event happening at school late at night.
We had ordered the Bugolgi Hot Pot for two people, which came with your classic sides for Korean cuisine such as pickled bean sprouts, kimchi and other vegetables. and a large pot of hot, savoury Korean broth served with bugolgi and vermicielli. We really enjoyed this dish, especially with such cold weather coming around – so we managed to eat this with lots of enthusiasm and vigor.
I would say the only downside was that the pot was just too large for two people to eat – I felt that this portion size was more for four persons rather than 2. If you do come here and try out their hot pot, make sure you have a group of 4 or more because the portions are huge. Nonetheless, the taste was definitely there and I thought this was one of my favourite Korean spots in the city.
